Privacy Policy

G-Code Guru is developed by Pawel Dembski ("DeepSkyApps", "we", "us"). This policy explains how the app handles your data.

The Short Version

G-Code Guru is a fully offline app. We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. Your programs, settings, and progress stay on your device.

Data We Do Not Collect

No personal information (name, email, phone number)
No location data
No usage analytics or tracking
No advertising identifiers
No crash reports sent to us
No accounts or logins

Data Stored on Your Device

The following data is stored locally on your device only and is never transmitted:

Saved G-Code programs
Favourite codes and calculation presets
Learning progress and bookmarks
App settings and preferences

This data is stored using iOS standard storage (UserDefaults and the app's Documents directory). You can delete all data by uninstalling the app.

Camera and Photo Library

G-Code Guru can access your camera and photo library to scan G-Code from machine screens or printed programs using on-device text recognition (OCR). Images are processed entirely on your device using Apple's Vision framework. No images are uploaded, stored, or shared.

In-App Purchases

G-Code Guru offers in-app purchases processed by Apple through the App Store. Purchase transactions are handled entirely by Apple and RevenueCat (our purchase management provider). We do not receive or store your payment information. RevenueCat processes anonymous transaction data to manage entitlements. See RevenueCat's Privacy Policy for details.

Third-Party Services

The only third-party service used is RevenueCat for purchase management. No analytics, advertising, or tracking services are integrated into the app.

Children's Privacy

G-Code Guru does not knowingly collect any data from children or any other users. The app does not collect data from anyone.

Changes to This Policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a new "Last updated" date. As the app does not collect data, significant changes are unlikely.
